The Conference offers a collective work and active participation. It will include working sessions to analyze how the world regions are advancing on the issue, using examples and good practices. It also will be a work space where participants will discuss and propose specific ways of action to move forward application.

> UNESCO has considered the Conference as a follow-up event of the World Conference on Higher Education (UNESCO, 2009). It will be also a meeting point for different events. The PEACE Programme will celebrate its 7th International Conference just two days prior to the GUNI Conference, giving participants the possibility to attend both events. The 5th Meeting of the Ubuntu Committee of Peers for the RCEs will take place in conjunction to the GUNI Conference.  We are exploring the possibility to hold the Meeting of the UN-Inter Agencies Committee of the Decade of Education for Sustainable Development.

GUNI would be grateful if you could announce the Conference in your various media (newsletter, website, regular communication) to your partners and collaborators. Attached you will find a text that you can use to spread information and a banner.
